Parent-Teacher Association

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Pacific Christian Academy. You are joining many other servant-leaders who generate enthusiasm for our school and help provide safety and guidance for our students. We appreciate your efforts to become a volunteer; you are vital to the ongoing success of PCA.

One of the greatest ways you can serve the Lord and PCA is to spend time in prayer for the school. We seek His blessing and grace on our families, students, and staff. As you volunteer on the campus, we expect our students to be full of kindness and attentive to your guidance. Our prayer is that you are a blessing to our students and that they, in turn, bless you. We ask that you be a role-model of the fruits of the Spirit and that you keep students safe as you partner with other parents and our teachers.

Our goal is to honor Christ at all activities and events and to train our students to be strong, positive leaders physically, spiritually and mentally. Our desire is to always leave a positive impression and to be a very cooperative and polite group when we are out in public. In doing so, we will bring glory to Jesus.

You are a blessing to our faculty and staff and we pray your time as a volunteer will be both a rewarding and refreshing time.

Praying for God’s best,

Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

Volunteering

Parent volunteers make an important contribution to Pacific Christian Academy each year. A volunteer is an individual who is willing to assist the administrative staff and/or teaching staff. They should be willing to work cooperatively with staff and teacher and be under their supervision. The investment of time that parents and students give to our school creates a community in which parents and students can thrive.

This handbook outlines guidelines and expectations that volunteers must follow to create safe and successful experiences for students, staff, and volunteers.
