"Strong leaders bring people on to God’s agenda.” At PCA, our leadership team is committed to equipping students to be socially relevant leaders. This means modeling devoted commitment to Jesus while giving students the skills needed to lead.
Our Leadership Training begins in kindergarten, where children learn to take responsibility for classroom jobs. The training continues through the elementary ears, culminating in 6th grade with a semester of leadership training included in the curriculum.
In Junior High, each student takes a 9-week class in leadership each year. While in the class, a JH activity is planned, with students taking the lead and learning how to plan well. Students are also taught servant leadership as they help keep the school clean and plan other activities that make Junior High fun.
High school students learn the importance of leaderships they study past leaders and the outcomes of their leadership. The ASB team consists of student who have chosen to be discipled in leadership; they are responsible for planning the high school BIG EVENTS, chapel, oversee the yearbook, and make high school a fun place to learn!
Meet our leadership team and find out why they are passionate about God's call to modeling and teaching leadership at PCA!
